             Hello !! everyone  after last 2 week I have introduced to you an interesting application which is Food Panda and Shazam application but this week I will not talk about application anymore.I will present to you a 3D Printer.
     

What is 3D printer ?

   An easy explanation is  a process of printing an object into three dimension which can be touchable not just a printing ink in the paper. Actually most of my friends think it is quite a new technology but actually it was used for a long time by a business sectors only because of very high cost,anyway, It become a popular topic because price has decreased a lot.

3D Printer can be classified into 4 main categories 

So, I will explain in brief each categories to make you guys understand easily 

 1) Fused Deposition Modeling

    It can be called FDM or FFF in short and most popular type of 3d printer. The process is melting a plastic filament to build platform each layer.

 

2) Digital light processing

       This method use a conventional light source with a liquid crystal display panel which is apply to the entire surface

               

3) Powder 3d printer

    Similar to inkjet method but instead of using paper we used a powder bed of the part material

to print each layer 

4) Selective laser sintering

  It can be called SLS, It works with powder material by laser traced across a powder bed of compacted powder material 

Shazam Application

Shazam Application for Music Lover 

Hello! everyone, According to the last week I introduced to you a Food Panda application for food lover,so, this week I will introduce to you a Shazam application, Application for Music Lover 

 What is Shazam ?

   

Shazam is an British free application for smartphone which help user can find out the name of the song which was being played on the radio,TV or in other places.Users just simply hold their smartphone  up to the speaker playing the music and the Shazam application will try to identify the name of song,artist and album 

From my experience

    

    I have already used this application for long time since my friend introduce me because they know that I am a music lover and when we was hangout sometimes I heard some interesting song and cannot know the name.After using this application I feel very satisfy because it is not only catch the song but also have a interesting song, the new song, and the recommended song,moreover, This application privide  tending song which other people using this application to catch the name and categorized into many kind of music such as Pop,Dance,Country and so on.

Food panda Application

Application for food lover 

Have you ever feel lazy to go outside but want to enjoy your favorite restaurant?

           If yes I have some mobile application which can serve your need that is Food Panda application. I used to order food through this application around 8 times and quite satisfy with this application.There are only few step to order food though this application. First time when you download this application you just need to fulfill your location to check whether food panda can serve you or not.If your location is allowed then you just find your favorite restaurant from the list and choose the menu then add to basket and make order,anyway, you can also choose term of payment but for me I prefer to pay by cash.

After using this application for 8 times I have realize some advantages and disadvantages

Advantages

-There are many list of famous restaurant in the application

-Application was well design and easy to use

- They close very late you can order until 23 or 23.30 PM 

-You can order from everywhere

- Less problem

Disadvantages

   - Take time to delivery [around 45 minutes to 1 hours]

    - The food when delivery not hot and fresh

    - They charge vat and delivery at higher rate [ delivery around 80-100 baht depends on location]

   - You cannot order more than 1 restaurant per time 

    

 

Small Queuing Machine at Tom n Toms coffee

      





     This is one of the chain  24 hours coffee shop named Tom and Toms coffee  which located near my house, near BTS chongnonsri station  you can walk from this station and take not more than 5 minutes.I went there around once a week because of  great hot coffee and delicious pretzel  and some kind of pastry.In addition, the sevices is as good as starbucks ,the staff always smile and caring about customer convenience,anyway, this coffee shop has a  small queuing machine which will alert when your coffee and snack ready that is very comfortable for customers by no need to queue by the counter because some pastry take time to prepare 


 There are many branches around Bangkok, So if  you are interested you can check it out  in your nearest branches and take a look how small queuing machine was ra good and I also recommend you to try some hot caramel macchiato

Let's pizza the world’s first pizza vending machine!

           Eating pizza from a vending machine won’t be a pie-in-the-sky idea in the States for much longer. According to trade publication Pizza Marketplace, A1 concepts is set to bring its Let’s Pizza vending machines to the U.S. by the third quarter of this year. 

The machines, which have been a big hit in Europe for the past three years, can make a 10.5 inch pie in 2.5 minutes. Each contains a bag of flour and water that is turned into dough when the customer selects his/her pizza of choice (options include meat, vegetarian, fish, and others).

When the dough is ready, the machine shapes the crust and tops the dough with tomato sauce and the toppings of your choice. The soon-to-be pie then bakes in an infra-red oven and voila, 2.5 minutes later your vending machine pizza is ready to eat. 

The pizzas are expected to cost $5.95 and will be available in airports, malls, hotels, supermarkets, and other locations. We’re withholding judgement until Business Insider adds a Let’s Pizza machine to its kitchen.

In my point of view 

          This machine is quite interesting and useful because it is easy to use and  you can eat pizza at any time you want and it takes only 3 minutes to get a hot fresh pizza you do not have to wait for pizza delivery anymore  its also very comfortable for anyone who do not have too much time to have a meal and the other things is the price is very affordable its cost only around 6 dollars

SmartPens

  What is SmartPens  ?

                     

              A smart pen is a high-tech writing tool that records spoken words and synchronizes them with notes users write on special paper. A student can thus record everything a teacher says and later replay any part of a lecture by tapping the pen's tip on words written throughout the class.

How to use Smartpens ?

             When you turn on the Echo Smartpen, you hear a beep. You set up your pen by tapping its tip on information bubbles in an interactive brochure that comes with it. The pen uses text to speech  to describe each step and function.

            The information bubbles teach you how to use the pen, practice, record a lecture, upload notes onto a computer, and what all the buttons do.

           The Menu button, for example, enables you to set the date, time, and audio quality, and to adjust playback speed and volume.

         Once configured, you turn the pen on at the beginning of a class or presentation and write as you would with any other pen.

For my perception 

           Smartpens make us take note  less stressful by eliminate the fear of missing anything said from teacher  during a class or meeting. They also remove the time consuming task of transcribing a complete lecture by enable students to access any part of a recorded lecturer by just tapping on words. the notes are also easier to store, organize, search, and share,but the weakness point is that this device still not popular in Thailand and the cost of buying is very high

Google Self Driving Car

The Google Self-Driving Car is a project by Google that involves developing technology for auto car , mainly electric cars. The software powering Google's cars is called Google Chauffeur. Lettering on the side of each car identifies it as a "self-driving car". The project is currently being led by Google engineer  Sebastian Thrun, former director of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and co-inventor of Google Street View . Thrun's team at Stanford created the robotic vehicle Stanley which won the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge and its US$2 million prize from the United States Department of Defense. The team developing the system consisted of 15 engineers working for Google, including Chris Urmson, Mike Montemerlo, and Anthony Levandowski who had worked on the DARPA Grand and Urban Challenges.

In my point of view

the project cannot be applied in the reality in the present because of technology  is not advance enough and cannot produced in the large quantity  but this project is really interesting for human race in the future in term of provide utilities and convenience for the driver and  it can be reduced in  the amount of  car accident and also reduce the traffic jam because everything  is controlled by the computer system
